Blue Wildrye Dairy is the sister business to Blue Wildrye Farm—guided by the same stewardship-first values and standards of excellence. Our Jersey cows graze on the same pastures we steward at Blue Wildrye Farm and are managed with thoughtful rotational grazing to support animal wellbeing, healthy soils, and great-tasting milk.

Jersey milk is naturally rich and extra creamy—and ours is bottled raw as true cream-top milk—you can see the thick layer of cream at the top of each bottle! Because our cows are raised on pasture, the milk's clean, sweet taste shines through. Our herd is A2A2, a difference many customers seek out for its gentler milk protein profile. Shake the cream in for luxuriously creamy milk, or skim it off the top for coffee and cooking.

Great milk starts with careful routines—and because our milk is not pasteurized, we do not cut corners. We focus on meticulous cleanliness, rapid chilling, and a tight cold chain from milking to bottle. We also do voluntary weekly milk testing as an added layer of accountability, and we’re working toward becoming one of the elite dairies listed by the Raw Milk Institute (RAWMI).

Simple Safe Handling

To keep milk at its best, keep it cold (40°F or below) and refrigerate promptly after pickup or delivery. Plan ahead for the trip home—bring a cooler, or have one ready with plenty of ice packs for delivery days. Pour with clean hands and utensils, and return the bottle to the fridge right away.
