Holiday Berkshire Ham

Our Holiday Berkshire hams are perfectly balanced: smoky, salty, and slightly sweet. They are fully cooked, which makes them a great choice for holiday entertaining — just heat and serve. Serve with scalloped potatoes, macaroni and cheese, or any of your favorite holiday side dishes. Plan on 1/3 to 1/2 lb. of ham per person.
Ingredients
- (1/4 C) Country style Dijon mustard
- (1/4 C) Quality apricot preserves (or stone fruit preserves such as cherry, peach or plum)
- (1) Berkshire Ham
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a small bowl, mix together the mustard and preserves. Evenly coat the ham with this mixture.
Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan. Fill the bottom of the roasting pan with approximately 1" of water (the water should not touch the bottom of the ham).
Heat the ham for 15 minutes per pound or until the ham is heated through.
If desired, once it is heated through, run the ham under the broiler quickly to slightly brown and caramelize the mustard/apricot glaze.
