Perfect Grilled Pork Chops

Pork Chops seem like a natural grilling meat, but you might shy away from them if you have ever been disappointed by overdone, tough, dry grilled pork chops. Never fear! This recipe is super easy and turns out tender and juicy every time.
- Servings: 4
Ingredients
- (4) Pork Chops
- (1/4 C) Olive Oil
- (1 tbsp) Brown Sugar
- (2 tsp.) Dijon mustard
- (1 1/2 tbsp) soy sauce
- (1 tsp.) lemon zest
- (1 tbsp) freshly squeezed lemon juice
- (1 tbsp) chopped fresh oregano
- (1/2 tsp.) salt
- (1/4 tsp.) black pepper
- (1) clove garlic, minced
- (1tbsp) Additional chopped fresh oregano for garnish
Directions
- Place the pork chops in a zip top gallon sized bag. Whisk together the remaining ingredients (except for the oregano for garnish). Pour the marinade into the bag with the chops, seal, and allow to marinate 1-8 hours in the fridge, turning the bag to redistribute the marinade occasionally.
- Pre-heat your grill to medium heat.
- Grill the chops about 3 minutes per side, until the outside is browned and the inside of the chops are still a rosy pink. This is important to keep the chops tender and juicy!
- Remove the chops from the grill and allow them to rest 5 minutes before serving.
- This meal is delicious with a mix of grilled vegetables as pictured.
