Freedom Ranger chickens are the breed said to be preferred by the great Julia Child. They are truly delicious and have a perfect balance between light and dark meat. Freedom Rangers are “slow food.” While the popular Cornish Cross breed can race to maturity in a mere 7 weeks, we grow our chickens slowly, taking 12 or more weeks to gently bring them to their full potential. Ours spend their days grazing freely in our pastures and enjoy locally sourced feed that is free of corn, soy and GMOs.
